We invite you to make this delicious quiche with spinach and feta cheese, a healthy and perfect dish for a birthday party, for a light and special dinner. Quiche is a French savory cake that is becoming more fashionable every day. It is a very versatile dish since it allows different combinations of fillings. In addition, it can be eaten hot or cold.
In case you don't have the breeze dough or shortcrust dough By hand, you can make the quiche with the puff pastry.
- 1 sheet of shortbread dough or shortbread
- 3 eggs
- 200 ml. cream (or cream) liquid
- 200 gr. diced feta cheese
- Mallet of fresh spinach
- 1 onion
- 3 garlic cloves
- Pitted black olives
- Grated Parmesan or Emmental cheese
1- Open the breeze dough and spread it on a round dish.
2- Prick the entire surface of the dough with a fork to prevent it from bulging when roasting.
3- Take the dish to the oven preheated to 180 degrees. Let it roast for about 10 minutes or until the dough is slightly golden.
4- Meanwhile, fry the minced garlic and sliced onion with a little oil.
5- When they are done, add the spinach and sauté until the spinach loses its volume. Remove them from the heat and reserve them.
6- When the spinach is cold, add crumbled feta cheese. Season to taste.
7- In a bowl, beat the eggs and then mix them with the cream or milk cream, salt and pepper. Mix everything very well.
8- Remove the dough from the oven, and when it is cold, pour the spinach mixture on its surface, making sure that it is well distributed.
9- Sprinkle the dough with grated Parmesan or Emmental cheese.
10- To finish, put the beaten eggs on top of everything. Next, add the sliced black olives.
11- Put the quiche back in the oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until set and brown.
9- The quiche can be served hot, warm or cold. Before cutting it we wait a few minutes. Bon appetit!
